Method and definitions

The category ranking is the Insurance ranking of the 2026 edition. Revenue is the latest twelve months reported up to 30 June 2026, in Swiss francs; analyst estimates are marked. Visibility reflects Wikipedia readership and Google Trends search interest from July 2025 to June 2026. Founding years are the companies' own dates.
