About

Bern-based, state-owned space supplier making launcher structures, satellite structures, mechanisms, computers and antennas, the space business of RUAG International, with sites in six countries.

Beyond Gravity is the space business of RUAG International, which is wholly owned by the Swiss Confederation. Its Launchers division makes payload fairings, adapters, separation systems and dispensers and thermal protection structures for launch vehicles, including Relativity Space's Terran R, and dispensers for Amazon's Leo constellation. Its Satellites division supplies structures and mechanisms, onboard computers, navigation receivers, antennas and thermal products to satellite makers and constellations, including Telesat Lightspeed and ESA's Celeste. Headquartered in Bern, it has Swiss sites in Emmen, Zurich-Seebach and Nyon, and operations in Sweden, Austria, Portugal, Finland and the United States. In March 2025 the Swiss Parliament decided that it should remain under federal ownership.
